WILFRED’S VEST is knitted with beautiful cables and a classic V-neck. The pattern is graduated into the following sizes: 4 (5) 6 (7) 8 (9) years.
The vest is worked in the round on a circular needle from the bottom to the top. When the body has the specified length, the work is divided into two, and the back and the front is finished seperately.
The pattern includes a detailed chart.
The vest is useful at all seasons, depending on the choice of yarn.
The pattern suggests 4 yarn alternatives. The vest can be worked in either PIMABOMULD (100% cotton), YAKU (100% merino wool), TYND LAMAULD (50% lama and 50 % wool or in ØKOLOGISK SOMMERULD (70% organic merino wool and 30% organic cotton). Since the 4 different yarns contain different fibres, the final look will also be very different. TYND LAMAULD gives a more wollen look, while the other 3 yarns has a more even surface.
The brown vest is worked in TYND LAMAULD, while the golden brown vest is worked in YAKU.

Finished bust circumference: 64 (67) 69 (72) 75 (77) cm.
Finished length: 38.5 (41) 42.5 (45) 46.5 (49) cm.
Suggested needle size: 2.5 and 3 mm circular needle (40 cm for size 4 and 5 years and 60 cm for size 6-9 years), cable needle for the cables, 2.5 mm double pointed needles for the ribbing in the armholes.
Gauge: 30 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in pattern with cables, on a 3 mm needle.
If the gauge is not correct, try with a bigger or smaller needle.
