CUSHIONS WITH SMOCK is a cushion cover knitting pattern. The cushion cover is knitted from top to bottom on a circular needle and completed with a front band with buttonholes, knitted back and forth.
You can knit the cover in
LAMAULD or
LAMATWEED held single or in
MIDNATSSOL held double. The covers in the pictures are knitted in
MIDNATSSOL.

Sizes: S (M) L.
Yarn: MIDNATSSOL held double from CaMaRose.
Yarn alternative: LAMATWEED (40% llama, 40% wool and 20% viscose),
LAMAULD (50% llama and 50% wool).
Yarn requirement: 5 (6) 7 skeins of either of the four suggested yarns.
Recommended needle size: 5 mm circular needle (60 cm) & 4 mm circular needle (60 cm).
Materials: A cushion without cover in size 40 x 40 cm (45 x 45 cm) 50 x 50 cm and 6 (7) 8 buttons with Ø= 20 mm.
Gauge: Approx. 24 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm slightly stretched in pattern on a 5 mm needle.
Making a swatch before casting on is recommended to ensure that you are using the needle size, that will give you the right fit.
