CHECKERED MITTENS are knitted on a circular needle, using magic loop, from the bottom and up. The rib is a classic 2, 2 rib and the hand is worked in a two-coloured pattern in stockinette stitch. The two-coloured pattern is worked according to a chart.
The mittens are worked in
LAMAULD, but can also be worked in
LAMATWEED.

Size: Onesize women.
Length: Approx. 26 cm.

Yarn: LAMAULD (50% llama and 50% wool) from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn alternative: LAMATWEED (40% llama, 40% wool and 20% viscose) from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn requirement: 4 skeins of Lamauld, 1 skein in 4 different colours of Lamauld.
For these mittens, there has been used 1 skein of each of the following colours:
Colour 1:
6041 Grå Lamauld.
Colour 2:
6000 Råhvid Lamauld.
Colour 3:
6030 Lys rosa Lamauld.
Colour 4:
6010 Orange 2 Lamauld.
Recommended needles: 4.5 and 5 mm circular needle (80 cm), and an extra 5 mm needle for the knitting together.
Gauge: 19 sts x 24 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
