SMOCK BEANIE is knitted in a smock pattern an has a slightly baggy look. The hat is worked from the bottom and up on circluar needles. A change to dpns is made, when necessary. The hat can also be worked with magic loop.
The hat is worked in
LAMAULD, but can also be worked in
LAMATWEED.

Head circumference: 53-55 (56-58) 59-62 cm.
Width of the hat: Approx. 18 (19) 20 cm when the hat lies flat.
Length of the hat, measured from the cast on edge to the top: 29 (29) 29 cm.
Length of the hat, when the rib edge is folded up: 23 (23) 23 cm.
Yarn: LAMAULD (50% llama and 50% wool) from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn alternative: LAMATWEED or from CaMaRose.dk.
Yarn requirement: 2 skeins (applies to all sizes).
Gauge: 30 sts x 24 rnds = 10 x 10 cm in pattern on a 4.5 mm needle. Note, the pattern is very elastic!
Recommended needles: 4.5 mm circular needle (40 cm), as well as 4.5 mm double pointed needles, or a 4.5 mm circular needle (80 cm) for magic loop.
