KNITTED PENNANTS is a knitting pattern for a sweet small garland of knitted pennants in different colours. The pattern is based on CaMaRose's
Økologisk Pimabomuld Mini, but can also be worked in scrap yarn, if you just use the needle size that matches the yarn.
With this pattern, you come around many different knitting techniques, like regular knit stitches, increases, I-cord, and knitting together the pennants with the I-cord.
The garland with pennants is fine for decoration, for example to a kids birthday party.
Size: Small and large pennant.
The pennants measurements: The small pennant is 5 cm long and 4.5 cm wide. The large pennant is 9 cm long and 7 cm wide.
Yarn: ØKOLOGISK PIMABOMULD MINI (100% organic pima cotton) in different colours, and off-white (
3700 Råhvid) for the I-cord connecting the pennants.
Yarn alternatives: All yarn scraps can be used, as long as they match the needles.
Yarn requirement: 1 skein of Økologisk Pimabomuld Mini or a scrap of yarn.
Suggested needle size: Three 2.5 mm double pointed needles or needles that match the scraps!
