6468 ASKEGRÅ LAMATWEED, 40% LLAMA WOOL, 40% PERUVIAN HIGHLAND WOOL AND 20% VISCOSE FROM CAMAROSE

QUALITY – NATURAL MATERIALS

LAMATWEED in the colour 6468 ASKEGRÅ is a light, natural grey with a soft, slightly warm undertone. The colour is calm and neutral, with a light, airy quality that makes it easy to use. The viscose gives the yarn a fine, silky sheen. Flecks in black, beige and off-white create a distinct, classic tweed effect, with the black flecks in particular standing out sharply against the light base. ASKEGRÅ is a versatile base colour for sweaters, cardigans, children’s wear and blankets, and in LAMATWEED it gains a beautiful play of colour and incredible softness.

LAMATWEED from CaMaRose is made of llama wool, an exclusive, light and strong natural fibre with excellent insulating properties, Peruvian Highland Wool, and viscose, a natural-based fibre that gives the yarn its tweed effect and adds a subtle sheen and silky softness.

With its rustic look, good insulation, strength and softness, LAMATWEED is particularly well suited for children’s wear, classic sweaters, cardigans, outerwear and blankets.

If you’re looking for a soft, classic sweater, my SVANEKE SWEATER can be knitted in LAMATWEED. You’ll find the pattern HERE.

LAMATWEED and LAMAULD ½ can be combined in your projects, and the two qualities can be substituted for one another or knitted together in the patterns. Due to the spinning and the tweed technique, there will be small variations in the thickness of the LAMATWEED yarn in places, which contributes to the classic tweed look.

You can read more about LAMATWEED from CaMaRose and see the full colour chart HERE.
