HØST in the colour 8228 HIMMELBLÅ
HØST is a super soft, light and airy and full-bodied yarn, made of only natural materials, and as far as possible, of organic fibers. HØST is an exclusive yarn, since it is made of 75% organic cotton, 16% wool and 9% cashmere.
HØST is made of a tube of organic cotton and is a blow yarn. The organic tube is dyed with a special spraying technique, which gives the yarn a beautiful melange and a unique play of colours. A blend of wool and cashmere, is blown into the tube. The cashmere turns the yarn into a luxury yarn.
HØST is available in 16 beautiful colours, and all of the colours are reminiscent to the beautiful colours of fall. The recommended gauge is 17-18 stitches and 28 rows on a 4 mm needle. Remember, the gauge is for guidance only, and it is always recommended to knit a swatch. The length of HØST is 120 meters per one skein of 50 grams.
HØST is produced by an Italian spinning mill with consideration for environment, thus the cotton used is organic.
HØST is suitable for everything from small projets as mittens, scarfs, hats and vests, to bigger projects as sweaters and cardigans, and is a joy to work with.
It is recommended to HAND WASH the finished work with a wool detergent and lay it flat to dry.
When washing, the finished work can shrink up to 7%, but will stretch again in use. It is recommended to knit ribbing edges a little firm and slightly narrower, as these likewise will stretch in use.
