CIRKELINE DRESS is worked back and forth in stockinette stitch with a technique called intarsia. Intarsia is stockinette stitch, used to work motifs into an otherwise unicoloured knitwork. This technique is used, when the motifs are either too big, and thus, there is too long between the colour changes to use the fair isle technique, or in this case, dots, where you you want to avoid the long strands on the back of the knitwork. At the colour change, you twist the two colours around each other. You have to calculate with a lot of weaving in ends, but if you do it along the way, it is not so difficult.
The dress are worked from the bottom and up, in several parts, and sewn together at the end. A button placket is worked on the back.

The dress is knitted in PIMABOMULD, but can also be worked in YAKU or ØKOLOGISK SOMMERULD.
